For the standard ombre....do you technically need that middle color? Or can just blend?

I don't like old people doing too much to their hair - coloring cutting blow drying etc. When hair has become grey and thinned down its no use.

Why the hell do hair stylist want to thin out gorgeous thick hair????? I scream at my hairstylist if they dare try to thin out my bob! I love it too look like a thick wild beast! Every compliments how thick my bob haircut is because my trusted hairstylist never ever thins out my hair she knows how much I love my super thick indigenous hair! I like to look wild and just roll out of bed! I hate “textured” thinned out hair! Stylists have ruined my hair when they’ve done that to me!

I almost didn't watch this video because I wanted to see another " technique" video LOL I might need this video more than any other! I had a client yesterday that had never had highlights on her dark brown hair, she showed me pictures and I didn't manage her expectations. This is so important!!!! I think this will help me more than anything just like you said. Thank you so much for this!! When I first started doing hair over 30 years ago I had great training and I felt like I was at the top of my game. Then I had children and decided to stay home with them which was wonderful and worth it. They are grown now and I'm back in the salon and I feel mediocre. Your videos have helped me so much. My hair was to my last rib. I was like okay lets do this, but I cut it MUCH longer than the video and wigged out because it was soo short after the first section. I am going to have to finish this after work. I look stupid currently 😂

This tutorial is fire af. Just DIY cut my hair, and it looks fantastic.

Not many stylists still do this technique. I have thick hair and this technique used to work wonders for me and left me with the result I wanted. I'm not sure what happened in the hair industry recently but most appear to be quick to reach out for the thinning scissors and run it through the ends. This may work for others but not all hair types. The thinning scissors just takes out a chunk at the ends the result is rubbish. Even my own stylists who has been doing my hair for years reached for the thinning shears and I could see it in her hand as she tried to conceal it lol because obviously it saves them time but just need to realise it's not for every hair type (my own stylist should have known better).

Great Haircut and video-Thanks again! But at the End-detailing, Why do u do a bit of Scissor-Over-Comb at the back Then go Over the Same section with Clippers over Comb-I'd have felt Maybe using a touch of blending scissors would have been softer-while achieving a Similar finish? x M
